From a Whitepaper to a Global Powerhouse
ChainVault was founded in 2019 by Dr. Elena Vasquez and James O'Brien — two MIT cryptography researchers who believed enterprise blockchain had been over-complicated and under-delivered. They set out to change that.
Starting from a 12-person team in a San Francisco co-working space, we secured our first $4M seed round within 6 months, signed our first Fortune 500 client within the first year, and expanded to three continents by 2021.
Today, ChainVault operates from offices in New York, London, Singapore, Dubai, and Tokyo, employing over 200 blockchain professionals who collectively hold 14 patents in distributed ledger technology.
